He had been giving me some grief over something as teenagers will do. He left the house for awhile and I spent the time taking deep breaths and releasing some tears. When he returned he saw I had been crying and wanted to hug. While the hug felt great, we'd both go to pat each other at the same time and after a couple times of this happening, we both started feeling uncomfortable, like speaking to someone who starts speaking when you do in a conversation!
